# From layby next to McDonalds, Prescot
| Inter-Club Galas Once a swimmer reaches the age of 9 they are eligible for selection by the club coaches to swim in galas against other clubs. These will not necessarily be at Knowsley Leisure & Culture Park. Swimmers compete in one or more events in order to gain points for the team. |
| Individual Licensed Events Swimmers pay per event that they enter. Medals are normally (but not always) awarded for those who are successful . The club will normally advise which events that they will have coaches in attendance at. |
| Championships If a swimmer gets the necessary qualifying times they are eligible to enter these types of championships where they will come up against the best swimmers in the area/ region / country. |
| Prescot SC only Gala Events such as the Club Championships, Minnows and Tadpoles allow the swimmers to compete against others in the club, there is no minimum age for this - if they are good enough they are old enough. |
