Mobile Phones The Club's Executive would like to remind all swimmers and parents that Swim England's changing room policy now "prohibits all use of a mobile phone or device in a changing area during Swim England regulated activity.  This includes, but is not limited to taking photos, texting, making phone calls and browsing the internet".

In this Swim England video, James Diamond, SE's national safeguarding manager, explains the policy and why, (the key details are from just after 2:30 to 3:20 mins, and 4:55 to 6:50 mins).

Swim England remains totally committed to child safeguarding and as a result has become one of the first major sports to be successful in achieving the NSPCC Advanced Level Standard for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport.
As an affiliated member club of Swim England, Prescot Swimming Club actively follow the safeguarding policies that Swim England set.
All of the committee, coaches, teachers and poolside helpers from Prescot Swimming Club have full DBS (formerly CRB) checks.
They also have to attend regular training courses on Safeguarding.
