| Mobile Phones | The
Club's Executive would like to remind all swimmers and parents that Swim
England's changing room policy now "prohibits all use of a mobile phone
or device in a changing area during Swim England regulated activity.
This includes, but is not limited to taking photos, texting, making
phone calls and browsing the internet". www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWkjy90fld4 In this Swim England video, James Diamond, SE's national safeguarding manager, explains the policy and why, (the key details are from just after 2:30 to 3:20 mins, and 4:55 to 6:50 mins). |
|
| Swim England remains totally committed to child safeguarding and as a result has become one of the first major sports to be successful in achieving the NSPCC Advanced Level Standard for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport. | |
| As an affiliated member club of Swim England, Prescot Swimming Club actively follow the safeguarding policies that Swim England set. | |
| All of the committee, coaches, teachers and poolside helpers from Prescot Swimming Club have full DBS (formerly CRB) checks. They also have to attend regular training courses on Safeguarding. |
