Micro League, Colne, 19 March 2016

Prescot's junior league team had a trip to Colne in their first round of the North west Micro League.

The younger swimmers swam exceptionally well with individual wins for Grace Rhead (2), Max Basinger, Ella Roberts (2), Jess Deeley (2), Rebecca Parkinson, Robyn Frost, Giancarlo Albanese, Jessica Waring, Katie Rawnsley (2), Lucy Parsons, Aimee Trantum, Jessica Berry and Tom Parsons.

In addition there were many wins from the relay teams.

Final Result: 1st Prescot 159 points, 2nd Lytham St Annes (112), 3rd Kirkham (101), 4th Colne (95).

Next round of this league for us is on Sunday 17th April at 2pm at home (Knowsley Leisure & Culture Park)

Prescot SC & Everton SA Spring Meet, 13/14 March 2016

As well as hosting the 2-day L3 meet about 20 Prescot swimmers entered the competition. Many PBs were gained, along with entry times for the North West Region championships.

Merseyside & District League, Europa Pools, 13 Mar 2016

Because of the Spring Meet we took a different look team over to Birkenhead for the 3rd round of this years Merseyside & District League. The absence of some of our top swimmers combined with the withdrawal of St Helens from the league made it a closer gala than usual but we still emerged as winners at the end.

Merseyside & District League, Parr, 28 Feb 2016

Prescot continued their domination of the Merseyside & District Division 2 with another commanding performance in St Helens. The other clubs managed the occasional win but on the whole a procession of Prescot swimmers finished in 1st place.

Final Result: 1st Prescot 218 points, 2nd Formby (138), 3rd Woodchurch (97), 4th St Helens (88)

Lancashire Championships, January 2016

An incredibly successful championships saw Alex Dunk and Jess Berry crowned county champions and a host of other Prescot swimmers medal and make it to finals.

Jess Berry ended up with 1 gold (200m Backstroke) and 2 silver medals (100m Backstroke & 200m Individual Medley) and also made 2 other finals. Alex Dunk took gold in the 400m Freestyle, silver in the 400m Individual Medley and bronze in the 200m Individual Medley. Joe Burns won silver (50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle) and bronze medals (50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke). Daniel Clark took silver in the 50m Backstroke and made 2 other finals.

Jess Deeley got a bronze in the 200m Individual Medley and qualified for the 50m Breaststroke final.

Alex Fry, Elizabeth Hurst, Charlotte Dodson & Cameron Dunk all qualified for the finals of their events.

Finally it takes a lot of work to even get to the County Championships so well done & huge congratulations alto Katie Rawnsley, Ella Roberts, Stephen Cardwell, Jake Simm, Ellena Daly, Emma Farrugia, Leah Tarbuck and Ryan Tarbuck who all qualified for this years championships.

Merseyside & District League, 10 Jan 2016

Prescot started the campaign to get back into Division 1 of the Merseyside & District League in dramatic style. Dominating the gala our swimmers amassed an incredible 219 points out of 250 leaving Woodchurch (125),  St Helens (103) and  Formby (99) literally training in their wake. The next gala is on 28th February at Parr in St Helens.
