First Pair of Goggles

It is important that a young swimmer has the right size of goggles. Far too often we see young learners struggling to see out of goggles that are far too big which then also let in water. This means that they spend the whole lesson fiddling with the goggles rather than concentrating on their swimming.

Some recommended goggles with adjustable nose straps are shown below (all goggles shown also available in pink!). Stores shown are just a sample of where you may be able to obtain these and be warned that you will need to pay P&P if using the online stores.

Personal opinions

"Tesco's were selling off some Speedo Jet Junior Sets and I got a couple of sets  for £4. They fitted the kids well and so I went to get some more - this time at £2! 18 months in and the googles are still doing great - we would still be on the first pair if the kids had not wanted to change the blue ones for the black ones to match the Prescot colours"
